He shouldnt have to raise a flag. The system penalized you and you were clearly attempting to spin but saw that the system glitched and let you off with just a jybe for your circle. The system penalized you and you did not exonerate. Simple as that. If you thought that the system was wrong and you were in the right, as far as I am concerned, It is on you to file a protest

With the current procedure (changed some weeks ago) we can only accept a protest when a P flag was raised against the protestee.
This will probably change again because it seems that sailors raising the P flag should be accountable.
