1.) Smaller start and finish lines. Maybe 1/4 the size of it now. Greatly increases competition from start to finish.
2.) Replays!
3.) 270 degree pens. (atomic's suggestion)

I think the starting line needs to be that big as the boat converge very quickly after entering. A smaller finish line I agree 1/4 of the size of the start would create some classic "match race" moves sailing past laylines etc.
For the match racing discipline to improve the umpiring needs to improve also. Replays are going to be must for learning the rules and the call book.
Please A can we get this sorted?

- I agree with atomic on the start lines. The start line the way it is is good.
- Smaller finish line, definitely. Maybe the sort of size of fleet's finish line.
