Threads ARE NOT USUALLY open in this forum. To file a protest use ALWAYS the Protest Editor, if the protest references a saved race use the link provided in the Results/Replays option for that race. If the protest cannot be referenced by a racelet use the Editor from the Protest Room option, Thank you.

Two bargers here. Topper also protested me with no reason. We were clearly not overlapped.
This is a barge.

System Info:LP17 raised the P flag at=269.

Looking at the moderation history of the protestee it might be a good idea to mention that A no-show in this protest may lead to a higher order of account restriction here.

right , I know i barged in , if you look at the replay you could see i had to crash gybe at the mark. i continued to go inside to cause minimal disruption to LP17's race (by allowing him to head up onto the upwind leg). I protested by accident and later withdrew my protest , i also took my penalty at the earliest opportunity.
For the above reasons I believe that although I broke rule 18 at the port gate mark , i fully exonerated myself for my infringement and withdrew the accidental protest almost immediately.
Therefore this protest is both invalid and a pointless exercise.

1) stop lying
2) stop disregarding getting called out
3) stop BARGING

4) When you break Rule 44.1 as you did here... you are to spin 2X the normal amount and/or retire if your advantage is great -- which it is... you did neither
5) You had every opportunity to take LP's transem and not go inside in the first place at the rounding... instead you rammed in with wreckless abandon
6) Your protest was hardly accidental, judging both by your reaction time to doing so in this incident... as well as your lengthy list of abusing the protest system and fouling others and not caring to correct accordingly...

Black Flag, permanently, until you start learning or at least make an attempt to do so

topper666,

It is hard to "protest by accident".
You need to press the P key twice.
It takes a conscious effort to do that.

And why would you protest LP17 anyway, when you so clearly broke rules?

Please sail fair or you will have to sail elsewhere.
