hi snotty,
look at the html racelet replayer. after my tack i'm below my green lines and still a boat length lies between us. you could easily have tacked (even though you wouldn't want to given the mark rounding).
i'd put the times in but i'm in a rush; will get back later.
regards,
~ walke

Hi again Snotty,
I've looked at this again on two different slow computers (not the fast home computer I usually play on). I won't have much access to my home computer for a few days with work and America's Cup here in Newport RI.
When I looked at this on my fast home computer you (Snotty) appeared to have plenty of room and robinbud wasn't hindering your tack. On this slow computer with only OK video it looks quite a bit closer and perhaps robinhud was keeping you from tacking immediately. But I'm also getting a lag effect (boats jumping around) I don't remember seeing before.
Questions for anyone that knows:
Using the HTML reacelet re-player is it possible that the view will be different at different times on let's say the same computer due to lag?
Is a laggy looking replay encoded into a replay file or does lag get introduced during transmision?
edit to note that the java based replayer does not work on this slow computer.
regards,
~ walke

Yeah my view is that I couldnt crash tack and I did all a could to avoid,
Dont worry about the time, wait till you get home of you fast comp. I am in no rush.
Mods, can you wait to decide on this one. But some discussion would be great.

Hi all.
Snotty tacks in a very short time after walke reaches CHC on starboard becoming ROW. Even so there is a contact between both boats.
Walke723 breaks R15, does not spin. DSQ walke723 -300.
