1 RULES & UMPIRING
1.1. The races will be governed by the current
Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the
SailX Sailing instructions.
1.2. The standard SailX protest procedure will be followed.
2. CLASS
2.1. This event will be sailed with SailX
Laser, Catamaran, Skiff, Big and
Team boats.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1. This is an OPEN event for all SailX registered users and for users attending the 50th edition of Barcelona Boat Show in the SailX area located in Gran Via premises.
3.2. Visitors attending the Boat Show will be given temporal IDs to enter the races.
3.3. No additional inscription or registration will be required.
4. FORMAT AND SCHEDULE OF RACES
4.1 Event will be run in two phases. In all cases the format will be FLEET RACING unless stated explicitely for the Special events).
4.1.
1st Phase. 4 regattas every friday from Sept 30th to October 28th, 20 regattas in total. Regattas will be held at GMT times 20:00, 23:30, 04:00 & 13:00. Regatas will consist in 6 races (one discard) using every SailX Boat class.
4.2.
Final Series, Nov 5th to Nov 13th, during the Salón Náutico event. Single Race regattas at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00 (Spanish local time).
4.3.
Special events, Barcelona Boat Show and the Federació Catalana de Vela may organize special team, match and fleet events during the duration of the Salón Náutico. The information will be published in SailX Web Site as soon as it is available.
5. VENUE
5.1. 1st phase regattas will be run on standard SailX Fields (L1, L2, L1-aus and L1-euro).
5.2. Fields E1-euro (Barcelona-1) , X1-euro (Barcelona-2) and M1-euro (Barcelona-3) will host the Final Series and the Special events.
6. COURSE
6.1. Standard SailX courses. Course diagrams will be provided in the Sailing Instructions.
7. SCORING
7.1. 1st Phase will be scored as a series of regattas where only the best 6 results will count for every sailor.
7.2. A specific on-line classification list and scoring page will be provided by SailX Web service.
8. PRIZES
8.1. Barcelona Boat Show will provide prizes for the best 10 classified in the 1st Phase.
8.2. Best classified on every race during the final series from the users attending physically the Boat Show will also have a prize.
8.3 All races and regattas sailed will be coef 3.5 for the World SailX Ranking.

1 REGLAS
1.1. La regata se gobernará por el actual Reglamento de Regatas a Vela
(RRS) y las instrucciones de regata
SailX (Sailing instructions).
1.2. Para las protestas se utlizará el sistema estándar de protestas SailX actuando como Comité de Protestas el equipo de moderadores del entorno virtual.
2. CLASES
2.1. Para este evento se utilizarán todas las clases de barco disponibles en el entorno virtual:
Laser, Catamaran, Skiff, Big y
Team.
3. ELIGIBILIDAD
3.1. Este es un evento OPEN, para todos los usuarios registrados SailX y para el público asistiendo a la 50a edición del Salón Náutico de Barcelona y utilizando la infraestructura puesta a disposición por la organización en el recinto de Gran Vía.
3.2. El público asistente al Salón navegará con identificadores temporales para poder acceder a los campos de regata.
3.3. No será necesario inscripción previa u otra clase de registro.
4. FORMATO Y PROGRAMA DE LAS PRUEBAS
4.1 El evento consistirá en dos fases. En todos los casos (salvo modificación en las Instrucciones de Regata) el formato será de regata en flota.
4.1.
1a. Fase. 4 regatas cada viernes desde el 30 de Septiembre hasta el 30 de Octubre incluidos, 20 regatas en total. Las regattas se programarán a las 20:00, 23:30, 04:00 y 13:00 en horario GMT. Cada regata será de 6 mangas con un descarte y utilizando todas las clases de barco.
4.2.
Final Series, desde el 5 de Noviembre hasta el 13 de Noviembre , durante la realización del Salón Náutico en Barcelona. Regatas de una sola manga a las 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 y 19:00 (hora local en Barcelona)
4.3.
Eventos especiales, el Salón Náutico de Barcelona y la Federación Catalana de Vela podrían organizar durante la realización del Salón eventos especiales en formatos de Equipos o Match Race. Se utlizará el tabón de Anuncios de SailX.com para comunicar con antelación el programa.
5. LOCALIZACIÓN, CAMPOS DE REGATAS
5.1. La primera fase utilizará los campos de las regatas diarias SailX (L1, L2, L1-aus and L1-euro).
5.2. Para la fase final y los eventos especiales se utilizarán campos ad-hocE1-euro (Barcelona-1) , X1-euro (Barcelona-2) y M1-euro (Barcelona-3) .
6. RECORRIDO
6.1. Recorridos estándar SailX. Los diagramas de recorrido serán disponibles en las Instrucciones de Regata.
7. PUNTUACIÓN
7.1. Sistema de puntuación a la baja y de Serie de Pruebas estándar. Para la serie de regatas solo contarán las mejores 6 puntuaciones de cada regatista.
7.2. Se realizará una clasificación on-line del evento, disponible en el servicio web de SailX.
8. PREMIOS/TROFEOS
8.1. El Salón Náutico de Barcelona entregará premios a los 10 mejores clasificados de la 1a Fase.
8.2. Los mejores clasificados de cada regata de entre los asistentes al Salón tambien recibirán un obsequio.
8.3 Todas las pruebas del evento serán de coeficiente 3.5 a efectos del ranking mundial de regatistas SailX.
